Work Experience
We are pro-active toward providing work experience placements for students interested in local community sport and leisure positions. We receive numerous requests from students within school and from external placement organisations and try to accommodate as many students as possible.
Students on work experience placements with us will generally be involved in the day-to-day running of the Centre. All our Centres operate in evenings and weekends only so you must be prepared to work a few anti-social hours with us. Common duties include cleaning and maintenance tasks, front of house and customer service, activity set-up and management, coaching and childcare duties, helping to organise childrens birthday parties and various other tasks related to the direct running of the Centre.
All potential work experience placements are subject to interview and we expect all students to meet the same standards of presentation, service and work-ethic as our regular employees.
